JAL, ANA and Garuda fly direct (non-stop) from Jakarta to Tokyo and their airfares start from USD1200 onwards. It would be cheaper to travel in November than December. Tokyo’s Weather of in Nov is cooling , at around 10-17 degree while in Dec, it’s much colder, at around 5-12 degree.
If you want to save cost on airfares, you maybe worthwhile to transit from Singapore and take a budget airlines like AirAsia that flies to Tokyo from Singapore.

December 23 is likely to be a blackout date for travelling for all airlines, which means it’s unlikely that you would find special fare to Manila on such date. Currently, SQ is selling its return fare (23 Dec 2012 – 7 Jan 2013) at S$732.

I noticed SA Tours organizes many tours to South Korea during its Pre-Natas Fair last weekend and the pricing are quite attractive. On the other hand, CTC has a 8D Korea & Jeju tour starting from S$1438 (with 2nd traveller flies free), departing in Dec 8. Do check out both travel agencies and get the best deal.
