I am keen to check out the newly opened Johor Premium Outlets (柔佛名牌商品城) even though some reviews I read were not so encouraging. Comments like the discounts offered are not as good as expected. Apparently, some shoppers were disappointed that not all the products are having discounts at around 25% – 65%. Those products that are not on sales, after converting to Singapore dollars, are about the same price being sold in Singapore retail shops.
Coach & Burberry – Patience Pays
Coach and Burberry are the most sought after brands at the Johor Premium
Outlets. Queues were formed quickly the moment the two shops open for business. Other brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren and Versace are not in full operation yet. I read that Levi’s is worth checking out as a pair of jeans costs merely RM159 with many sizes and designs available. But again, be prepared to queue for a while for a fitting room.
Anyway, my mind is set to visit this Singapore’s nearest factory outlets and I am excited to discover a One-Day Johor Premium Outlets Tour organized by Konsortium!
Bus to Johor Premium Outlets
Good news to Singapore shoppers! You can take an express bus to Johor Premium Outlets from next year onwards through Konsortium Express and Tours Pte Ltd.
